Award Sponsor Term

The Sponsor Term maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables.  This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.  A Sponsor Term is a rule, regulation, or requirement that applies to the award.

Edit Sponsor Term Section

The Edit Sponsor Term section of the Sponsor Term maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Description

Sponsor Term Id

Required.  Enter a numeric value to uniquely identify the sponsor term in KC.

Code

Required.  Enter a numeric value to uniquely identify the Award sponsor term in KC (this record).

Sponsor Term Type Code

Required.  Associate the Award Sponsor Term with an existing type of sponsor term.  Use the drop-down menu by clicking the down arrow to display the list, and then click on an item in the list to highlight and select it to populate the box with your selection.  Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically.

Description

Required.  Enter text to explain the purpose of the award sponsor term and its important characteristics.
