Sponsor Template

 

 

The Sponsor Template maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables.  This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.

Edit Sponsor Template Section

The Edit Sponsor Template section of the Sponsor Template maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Description

Required.  Type to enter a familiar textual name for the Sponsor Template.  Click the add note  icon to view/edit/paste text in a new browser window, then click the continue button to return to the text entry field in the document.

Sponsor Template Status

Required.  Select a status option from the list.  Use the drop-down menu by clicking the down arrow to display the list, and then click on an item in the list to highlight and select it to populate the box with your selection.  Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically.

Prime Sponsor Code

Required.  Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically.

Payment Basis

Required.  Use the drop-down menu by clicking the down arrow to display the list, and then click on an item in the list to highlight and select it to populate the box with your selection.  Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically.

Payment Method

Required.  Use the drop-down menu by clicking the down arrow to display the list, and then click on an item in the list to highlight and select it to populate the box with your selection.  Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically.

Edit Sponsor Template Contacts Section

The Edit Sponsor Template Contacts section of the Sponsor Template maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.  These contacts are for common award maintenance tasks like financial and technical report submission.  When synchronized with an award, the Sponsor Template updates the award with the contact information.

Contact Type

Rolodex Id

Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically.

Click the add button to add your selections in the Contact Type and Rolodex Id fields as subsections below.

Edit Sponsor Template Comments Section

The Edit Sponsor Template Comments section of the Sponsor Template maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.  These comments might include information about the interaction with a sponsor in providing assistance in managing the award.  When synchronized with an award, the Sponsor Template updates the award with the comment information providing consistency for awards with the same Sponsor Template.

Comment Type

Checklist Print Flag

Required.  Check to print this comment on the checklist.  Click within the checkbox to select the item.  A check mark appears within the checkbox to indicate the item is selected.  Click within the checkbox again to clear the mark and deselect the item.

Comments

Type to enter textual comments content as desired.  Click within the text box (or press the tab  key from a previous field) to relocate the cursor to the field, and then type (or paste from virtual clipboard) to enter text in the box as necessary to provide the appropriate information.  Click the add note  icon to view/edit/paste text in a new browser window, then click the continue button to return to the text entry field in the document.  After saved, click the green arrow  symbol to view full text in a separate browser window.

Click the add button to add your selections in the previous three fields as new subsections below.

Edit Sponsor Template Terms Section

The Edit Sponsor Template Terms section of the Sponsor Template maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.  A Sponsor Term is a rule, regulation, or requirement that applies to the award (for example, restrict the purchase of large items of equipment).

Look Up / Add Multiple Sponsor Term Lines

Click the lookupsearchicon icon to search for, select and return the values to cause new subsections to appear automatically.

Sponsor Term

Click the underlined text to view additional details about the Sponsor Term.

Click the delete button to remove the Sponsor Template Term subsection.

Edit Sponsor Template Reports Section

The Edit Sponsor Template Reports section of the Sponsor Template maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.  You can use Sponsor Template Reports show report requirements of a sponsor.  When synchronized with an award, the Sponsor Template updates the award with the report requirements of this sponsor.  These reports generate outside of KC.
