The IACUC Procedure maintenance document is used to add or modify a list of procedures that can be performed on animals. Each IACUC procedure (e.g. Analgesics) is associated to an IACUC procedure category (e.g. Drugs). Implementing institutions maintain a list of procedures that they allow researchers to perform on animals within the IACUC Procedure reference table.
This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in the Procedures page within the IACUC protocol.
