The Rate Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs.

The Edit Rate Type section of the Rate Type maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Required. Select the code for the class of rate you want to associate this rate type with. Type the suspected value in the box and click the direct inquiry icon or click the lookup icon to search for and return the value to populate the box automatically. |
Rate Type Code |
Required. Enter a numeric value to uniquely identify this type of rate in KC. |
Description |
Required. Type a textual name of the type of rate, as it is commonly known. Click the add note icon to view/edit/paste text in a new browser window, then click the continue button to return to the text entry field in the document. |
