Negotiation Activity Type

 

The Negotiation Activity Type maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables.  This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including e-docs and other maintenance e-docs.

Edit Negotiation Activity Type Section

The Edit Negotiation Activity Type section of the Negotiation Activity Type maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Field

Description

Activity Type Code

Required.  An abbreviated form of the Description field content.  Use a computer keyboard and type (or paste from a virtual clipboard) to enter text in the box as necessary to provide the appropriate information.  Refer to the example values below for more information.

Description

Required.  The full textual name of the activity type as it is commonly referred to.  Click within the text box (or press the tab key from a previous field) to reposition the cursor so that it is within the field, and then type (or paste from virtual clipboard) to enter text in the box as necessary to provide the appropriate information.

Active

Required.  Click within the checkbox to select the item.  A check mark appears within the checkbox to indicate the item is selected.  Click within the checkbox again to clear the mark and deselect the item.
