Job Code

The Job Code maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables.  This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including e-docs and other maintenance e-docs.  Refer to the examples subsection below for demonstration examples of acceptable input values.

Edit Job Code Section

The Edit Job Code section of the Job Code maintenance document is a unique section that allows you to specify and maintain the details associated with the reference table record in fields.

Description

Job Code

Required.  Enter an alphanumeric value (uppercase letters) to uniquely identify the job title in the KC system.

Job Title

Required.  Enter the textual name of the job title as it is commonly referred to in uppercase letters.
