The Frequency Base maintenance document is used to establish and maintain numeric codes and textual description values which are stored in database tables. This data serves as reference information that is made available for display and selection in various areas of the system, including other e-docs. Frequency Base Codes identify the date used by KC in calculating the due date of required reports submitted on a specific frequency. Required reports submitted on a specific frequency base have an associated Frequency Base Code. Award terms and conditions may require the submission of technical, financial, patent, and other reports on a scheduled basis or a specific frequency. For example, if an award requires your institution to submit quarterly financial reports, KC calculates the deadline for each quarterly report from the pre-defined date. Pre-defined dates may include the award’s execution date, the award’s effective date, its final expiration date, or another date added as a Frequency Base Code. Use Frequency Base Codes when entering award information on the Payment, Reports & Terms page on the Award e-doc. Select Frequency Base Codes when completing the Payment & Invoice Requirements subsection in the Payment & Invoices section.
Modification Of Existing Values: You may modify any of the existing values. Changing values will be reflected in all of the templates that are already defined. |
