Special Review

A special review refers to a grant proposal that requires additional review by an institutional committee or official (e.g. proposals that include the use of human participants in research).  The Special Review page is where you input relevant research compliance-related information and other special permissions that may be relevant to the specific project.  You have the ability to select which special review items apply, the approval status for each review, and additional data related to each special review.  The special review types are determined by each implementing institution based on local needs.
