The Identity section of the Identity group provides links to administration maintenance documents that allow you to create and maintain user data in the Kuali Identity Management (KIM) module of Rice. Depending on your implementation, KIM may also be used with non-Kuali applications. KC communicates with KIM to determine each user’s identity information, groups they are a member of, roles, permissions associated with those roles, and workflow responsibilities. Permissions and responsibilities are defined by system roles, which can be customized to suit your institution’s needs.
